The Treasury Talk- Ambassadors!

Bad? no! Confident- YES! This morning was on of the 'essential' parts of being an ambassador! We got to talk to the Treasury. I was really impressed with myself and the rest of the ambassadors! I am proud to be me.

At first I went really shaky and was  panicking, luckily I imagined an apple and it got me going fluently a well-set.  This Treasury Talk, was going 'AMAZING'

Equal Addition!

I am learning to use equal addition to solve my problem.

Doing this task took a short amount of time and was getting on my nerves! But I managed it very well!

'Kia Pai Te Kotahi- Better Together'

Outdoor playing, art, literacy and maths! What else could it be? The first week of school, seemed really fun. Non-stop! Everything just gets better, everyday. I’m very stunned that I have been chosen to be in Mr. Somerville's class! I am really looking forward to the rest of the year. ‘Kia pai te kotahi, better together’ That’s our koreo for the rest of the term! Meaning that we ALL need to co-operate with one another! Lately , we have been thinking about the moral for this term and we have been ‘co-operating’ about what other ways we can be better together! Overall this week, my favorite part was art! Why? because I’m really starting to get better at it. I love it! I actually enjoy learning from them. Especially the treaty task. Also I really love the name tags because we had to use cool colors and warm colors!

Samoa Vacation: Town Day!

Waking up to the silent sunrise of Samoa, I  jumped out of bed excitedly. My cousin Laina scanned my mind, to check 'why was I excited?'. She was frightened, that I must have went crazy in the head.''why are you going hyper?"  She questioned. "We're going to town! remember!" I replied. She had such relief in her mind that it was about town!

We got packed and ready to go to Apia . "READY TO GO JUS-" I paused. Apparently I was cut off by my grandma. "where are you two going off to?" she asked. "Ikai (town)" I replied. "Oh be careful when you go, remember to not go off to trouble" she advised.

TO be continued......

Just Back In!

Hello 2013! I'm back from my vacation to samoa. Right now, I feel exhausted! Our trip took 3 hours and 41  minutes. Before I got to the airplane , I had to say good bye to my family. I cried a little , and felt embarrassed.

My time in samoa was just, speechless! All  I could really say  was "amazing"  The favorite place i'd been in samoa, was 'Brenda's beach fales'. We went there because it was part of our reunion. Fale is a shelter, which is just like a house, it actually looks beautiful!
