Maths Question 1 ; How Many Truckloads Of Dirt Are There?
Every week in maths class, our teachers gives us a few word problems to work out during the week to help improve our maths. My first question for this week was ; " While preparing for our ANZAC memorial, we needed some dirt to fill the boxed pit outside. 3 small truckloads of dirt only filled an eighth of the pit. How many more truckloads were needed to completely fill the pit? " Then we had to make a new Google drawing that tells people how I worked it out. I have left a small paragraph explaining what I've done.
My Thoughts And Feelings About The Memorial
Our literacy group have been focusing on the world war 1 that took place in gallipoli. Mrs Tele'a gave us a task to focus on our thoughts and feelings about the memorial of Anzac that was built in the middle of our school.
