Reading in the holidays is a great thing to do in some time in the holidays. It can help you provide more confidence during the next rounds of Intermediate school. Fortunately , most of the kids in our school had the chance to read books from the Tamaki Digital Library . In the past few days, I have been looking at different ranges of books and they are really interesting. Like they say ' Don't judge a book by its cover ' and that's what I did. Having to read in the Holidays can be really sensible for those who are sick or even when the weather is a little grumpy.
Hi,Josephine
ReplyDeleteReading is good it helps you learn new words, also I like the way that you used capital letters and full stops in you sentences, also it was in the holidays AMAZING.
So remember to Keep It Up and Good Luck For intermediate.
Hey Josephine:)
ReplyDeleteYes, reading is a sensible thing to do in the holidays. I liked how you managed to throw in that saying 'Don't judge a book by its cover.' That was a smart thing to say. Now, my questions for you are how long did you or how long are you suppose to read in the holidays? Is it a couple of hours, a couple of days, a couple of weeks or even a couple of months? What type of books did you read? Was a a picture book, a chapter book, a journal? Please reply to this comment.
